About the Project
SMILE – Support Young Migrants Integration in the Labour Market in Europe is a European cooperation project co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme. It brings together seven organizations from Türkiye, Germany, Italy, Greece, and the Netherlands to address one of Europe’s most urgent challenges: the social and economic integration of young migrants.
In an era marked by increasing migration flows and rapidly evolving labour markets, young migrants often face systemic barriers to employment. These barriers include language difficulties, non-recognition of qualifications, and limited social networks. SMILE responds to these challenges with a targeted, inclusive, and skills-based approach.
Our Mission
SMILE aims to enhance the employability of young migrants aged 18–30 by focusing on soft skills development – such as communication, teamwork, adaptability, problem-solving, and digital literacy – which are essential for success in today’s workforce. In doing so, the project also supports social inclusion, diversity, and equal opportunities across Europe.
